Attention and Respect
My family is forever indebted to Patty for helping us get our dream home. We met her one day at an open house that she was hosting at one of her listings. We were at the infancy stages of our home search and hadn't even retained a realtor yet. The home was very nice and was filled with interested buyers that, by all appearances, looked like they would be way more qualified us. Despite our youth and humble appearance, Patty went out of her way to make us feel welcome and gave us her undivided attention. After we left that day, she followed up with a nice card in the mail and also sent follow-up emails, offering to assist us in finding a home.
The attention and respect that Patty gave us, reflected her high level of professionalism and character. She had not "judged the book by its cover." We appreciated that immensely because we had not gotten the same level of attention and respect from other realtors at open houses, who would look at us and immediately ignore us and turn their attention to those who "looked" more qualified. We knew we found a gem and we were right. So, we hired Patty and were able to quickly find the home we wanted. The process was not without significant challenges, but Patty tackled each one through her resourcefulness, vigor and steadfastness. What none of us knew, however, was that we were about to encounter one of the biggest hurdles that humankind has dealt with in modern times - The Coronavirus. Indeed, as we were trying to close, the virus was quickly sweeping across the world and entering the United States, where it was causing lenders to back out of deals, the federal wire system to shut down, movers to shut their doors out of fear, etc. Yet, Patty quietly and calmly held everything together, had a solution for every issue, and sealed the deal. Given what transpired, she will never forget this deal and we will never forget what she was able to pull off. Thank you Patty!
